A Numbers plan rings a phone on someone else's network, and every forwarded minute costs Kall8 a carrier charge, so those minutes are counted and priced on a published ladder. A Kall8 Phone user makes and takes calls inside the Kall8 app or Teams on a local number that lives on our network, which is why that calling is unlimited within the thresholds we publish. Toll-free numbers are metered in both cases.

Port-in: no fee. Toll-free numbers move in two to five business days, local numbers in five to fourteen, with no interruption to service.
Port-out: numbers you brought to Kall8 move on with you free. A Kall8-assigned toll-free number can be ported to another carrier where it is marked portable when you pick it, for $199 per number (higher for certain shared vanity numbers, as stated). See our terms or transfer a number.
Included minutes cover calls ringing to the contiguous 48 states. Forwarding to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, Canada and international destinations is billed per minute.
