Prerequisites

  • Microsoft 365 tenant with a Teams Phone license per calling user (Teams Phone Standard or an E5 bundle)
  • A Teams administrator to approve the Kall8 connection
  • The numbers you want to use: new local numbers from Kall8, or ported from your current carrier

Setup steps

  1. Choose the Microsoft Teams plan at signup; the first user and a local number are created immediately.
  2. In the Kall8 portal, open the Teams menu and connect your Microsoft 365 tenant.
  3. Assign numbers to users; Kall8 provisions the voice routes. Users make and take calls in Teams on desktop and mobile.
  4. Add users any time at $11.95 each, port more numbers, add call recording.

Teams Direct Routing questions
